Ethiopia expressed interest Thursday to collaborate with Denmark on such shared interests as energy, climate change, and capacity building, said the country’s Foreign Affairs Ministry.
State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Mesganu Arga and Danish Ambassador to Ethiopia, Kira Smith Sindbjerg, discussed matters of mutual concern on both bilateral and multilateral fronts.
Amb. Mesganu commended the long-standing relationship between Ethiopia and Denmark and welcomed the planned visit of the Foreign Minister of Denmark, Lars Løkke Rasmussen to Ethiopia.
The Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade is expected to talk with Ethiopian authorities about ways to promote bilateral and multilateral cooperation on matters of shared concern while he is in the country.
