Political Scientist, Bruke Hailu advised Ethiopians they should repeat the spirit of possibility that they brought to the black people in Adwa victory by making poverty history.
Talking to EBC Cyber, he said that it was possible to reverse the yoke of slavery reigned over Africans and black people and record a new world history by Ethiopians, who believed in their spirit of possibility and gained the mighty strength and unity to resist and stop oppression.
Adwa Victory reminded that Italian aggressors, armed with all modern weapons, were defeated by Ethiopians who were not even armed with modern weapons of the time.
Prof. Bruke Hailu, who said that the victory has given many Africans a spirit of revival and possibility, pointed out that Ethiopians had revived the history of defeat and achieved victory.
Ethiopia was able to set an icon of freedom and become a light for other Africans who followed Ethiopia’s example.
He pointed out that many countries who lost their freedom due to colonialism were able to regain independence after the Adwa victory.
